On the Road Again…

So it’s been a little while since I checked in. Between a hectic summer running here there and everywhere and getting ready for my trip to Mexico, there’s been little time to post on the blog! I’ve been a busy little bee working on some professional projects and spending lots of time writing for clients but not for myself.

Alas, now I’m settled into travelling life and I’ve got my freelancing into a good swing, I’m back in business! I’ve got a lot of content and info from my trips this summer to Iceland and Sweden sitting on the backburner, so I’m hoping to utilise that and create some mini weekend tips in some upcoming blogposts.

I’ve also been busy working with some exciting clients on some writing projects which I’m hoping to be able to share soon. I think the theme of this year has just been a little ac-hoc and have been going where the wind takes me, rather than pressuring myself to write when it hasn’t been the right time. And that’s just me being honest. After the publication of my poetry anthology, my lust for creative writing dwindled a little. But after taking some serious creative recuperation time, I feel like I’m back and ready to write better than ever.

It also means I do have some exciting projects in the pipeline - I hope I can share the fruits of my labour soon! But for now, I’m enjoying warm (but very wet!) Mexico for the next couple of months. Belize and Guatemala are on the horizon but I’m not setting any concrete plans yet. I’ve got some exciting diving coming up soon in Isla Mujeres which will be a completely new world for me; I’m really looking forward to jumping into something I haven’t tried before.
